The month of August marks the four-year anniversary of Expanding Frontiers Research, and what a month we have in store! The month-long celebration kicks off with a Friday, August 7, 7pm EDT episode of UFO Classified. Join Erica Lukes live as she hosts this writer for a discussion on events of interest in the past, present and future.

Expanding Frontiers Research has more FOIA material to share, files to add to the online archive, and exclusive videos, all for public benefit. Highlights of upcoming August events to follow the August 7 UFO Classified episode include:

Expanding Frontiers Research explores politics and UFOs, particularly in the context of Disclosure movements, in an August video. Who are the relevant elected officials? What should the public know about the legislation and media coverage? Who are the "Disclosure entrepreneurs" and what are the agendas? This and much more considered by Erica Lukes, Alison Godfrey Brandel, Tanner F. Boyle and your host and author.

Investigative journalist and bestselling author Stephen Kinzer will spend some time with EFR discussing his nonfiction book Poisoner in Chief: Sidney Gottlieb and the CIA Search for Mind Control. This renowned researcher of mid-20th century CIA personnel and operations provided statements at the recent MKULTRA congressional hearing and is certain to share insights of interest.

But wait, there's more! EFR and this writer are excited to launch the Interactive Research Project, a participant-driven recreational research and discussion group. The group will meet periodically via Zoom to discuss predetermined topics of popular interest along with related public records and similar materials obtained by EFR.

First topic up for the EFR Interactive Research Project is the Octopus Murders, as depicted in a Netflix documentary: An investigative journalist pursuing a political conspiracy is found dead in his hotel room. Alison Godfrey Brandel will lead the virtual discussion with assistance from this writer - and the entire group! Points for consideration will include the complex web of personalities involved, conspiracies inferred, and possible solutions to the implied puzzles, all while incorporating open-source information and FOIA records into the assessments.
