James Carrion is an independent researcher with a focus on Cold War and Intelligence history. He earned an M.A. in International Studies and a B.A. in Russian Language from Florida State University. As an enlisted member of the U.S. Army, he served as a Russian Linguist and Intelligence Analyst from 1983-1989.
